MSI Disaster Recovery Service offers multiple options for customers to connect to the MSI computer center:
A PC equipped with specialized communication hardware using a regular telephone line.
A PC equipped with a standard PC modem using a regular telephone line.
A PC accessing the internet from any location using either dial-up or broadband and utilizing the MSI Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN method allows multiple users and locations to access the Disaster Recovery AS/400 computer at the same time.
The Disaster Recovery PC can reside at your bank building, a secondary office location, a branch office or even at home.
The MSI Support Line Service complements the support provided through the MSI Software Maintenance Service.
Your bank will receive operational support and assistance for your IBM hardware and software products. This support is provided by telephone, by modem, by e-mail, or by fax depending on the circumstances. A toll-free 800 number is provided for all your telephone support calls.
Midwest Software will utilize the extensive technical knowledge of our staff and will serve as the link to the technical experts within IBM.
